Hair/Body Lotion

Skemna Moisturizing Lotions have shea butter as the base. These moisturizing lotions are lighter in consistency with a water base.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is derived from the nut of the fruit of the Karite tree in Africa. It contains a huge concentration of natural A, E, F and fatty acids that make it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps with dry skin, burns, sores, scars, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, dandruff, and stretch marks. It absorbs quickly, leaving no greasy residue. This butter melts gently into your skin leaving it silky soft, glowing, looking younger, and hydrated all day. It's perfect for all skin types. It is non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores) and it can help protect against the sun's UV rays. It also helps to soften dry or damaged hair.

Cocoa Butter

Obtained from cocoa beans and having a slight chocolate odor, this butter is great for its softening and skin-healing properties. Cocoa butter is perfect for massaging daily into fast-growing abdomens, to prevent stretch marks from developing. It is also known to help with healing of scars and burns, prevent drying of skin, development of wrinkles, reducing the degeneration of skin cells, and restoring skin flexibility.

BTMS 50

Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a mild vegetable-based conditioning and moisturizing emulsifier. It does not contain ethoxylated ingredients. It can be used to emulsify lotions and scrubs but is more commonly used to make hair tangle-free and feeling silky soft. It provides skin with a softer, powdery feel when it is used in skin care products such as lotions and creams. This product does not contain hazardous solvents. It is a quaternary ammonium salt derived from the natural plant oil, Colza, or what is commonly known as Rapeseed Oil.
